I just bought a brand new art journal and it's my very favorite ever! It's a watercolor paper moleskin:
It's a fabulous size: 8.25"x5.25" and has inspired me to create and create and create! I love it! I wanted to share some photos of what I've been working on. Mostly, I've been painting and spraying backgrounds, but I've done a few complete entries:
Lots of masking! I've discovered a super duper easy way to make the silhouette people you see all over these pages. I simply cut an image of a model from a magazine and used it as a mask! C'mon, how simple is that? No artistic talent needed! I can't wait to go and buy Vogue or something like it, which will have all sorts of interesting silhouettes to experiment with!
Also, notice the cool (if I do say so myself) letter stamps? I carved them myself! I'm feeling pretty proud of the set.
Well, that's all from here! Have a great day!
