Here's what you'll need:
- Small Punches/Die Cuts (no shape larger than 1")
- Buttons and/or Rhinestones
- Paper Scraps
- Glue Dots
- Foam Adhesive
- Glue Pen
STEP ONE: Separate the Glue Dot Sheets.
I'm using Mini Glue Dots that come in a bag filled with sheets of Glue Dots.
STEP TWO: Punch Shapes
You can use punches or die cuts or hand cut the shapes yourself. Just start cutting out some parts to use. I used three punches.
STEP THREE: Layer
I just continued to play around adding bits and pieces until I had a full sheet.
I used some buttons and some foam adhesive for dimension. I used tweezers when the pieces were too small for my fingers. And a glue pen is great for adhering those tiny pieces of paper! Here's the finished sheet of embellishments:
You could also make them all the same if you wanted. You don't have to make them all different the way that I did. Here's a sheet of them that I made using the Giverny paper collection:
The next time you're staring at a pile of paper scraps, don't throw them away! Make them into something lovely! You could even give these as a gift to a scrappy friend!
Thanks for stopping by!
