Week five of the Sizzix blog hop is here! I pretty much literally tumbled off the plane from France and into my craft room to whip up this week's project! I was sent these pieces...
...which create the gift card holder below (this is the example from the Sizzix website):
I decided not to make the gift card holder. Instead I used the various parts of the die cuts as a stencil.
I used watercolor paint to create the flowers along the border of this tag:
I'm a little in love with black Maya Mist, which creates this cool spray paint look:
I used the part of the book page I cut away to create the heart on the tag above, for the tag below:
This final tag is the most layered. I drew. I painted. I stitched. There's a rub-on along the top. Lots and lots of layers.
