Recycle a Project into a Card

On Saturday night, after the class at The Ink Pad, I went to an engagement party.  I needed a quick card and I had a rather clever idea.  Remember this 16x20 canvas I painted?

Well I turned it into this 5x7 card:

It couldn't be easier to do:

1. I printed out a photo of the canvas. 
2. I placed the photo onto a book page and doodled a frame.
3. I cut out the frame. 
4. A bit of handstitching and a lovely card was born!

I encourage you to look around at the art you've already made and find a clever way to repurpose it!
