There are two things that need to be said before I show you a marathon of pictures:
1. Nat is a rock star. She did all of the organization for the event, coordinated everything, got prizes, wrote thank you notes, dealt with the space, and the list just goes on. She's the best and her sweet sweet husband carried all of it up and down six flights of stairs. I am so very grateful to both of them.
2. We got the best group of students ever. This was a fantastic group of enthusiastic artists. Their energy and exuberance and generosity of spirit was awesome. I could wax poetic about the many reasons I love this group, but I'll keep it short and say thank you, thank you, thank you too all of you who came and shared a bit of painty time with us. It was wonderful.
And now a more than healthy dose of photos from day one of our Mixed Media adventure:
Here begin the photos from day two of the Mixed Media Circus:
Our students were so enthusiastic and adventurous. There was absolutely no timidity about splashing paint, covering up layers, or making their own marks with a paintbrush. What a wonderful experience! Thank you to all who came, to Nat for organizing such a stupendous event, and to you for stopping by today and making it to the end of this epic post!
