Today is my wedding anniversary. My husband and I were married on October 8, 2006. It's hard to believe that we've been married for six years. I made a layout to mark the occasion.
In the scan of the layout above you can barely see it, but I used one of the deli paper doilies that I made a week or two ago.
That title is hand cut. Who needs a fancy cutting machine when you've got scissors and an exacto knife?!
And despite the fact that it looks like I used a big 12" wide photo, I actually used two 4x6" photos. You can see the seam here:
...and digitally cropped it into two 4x6" photos. Then I just printed the two photos and placed them side-by-side on my layout. It really looks like a large panoramic photo, which is super cool!
Finally, I had to add some color to the layout.
Leftover painted tags and book pages get a new life on this page. And, of course, this is why I can't bear to throw anything away! You never know when you're going to need it.
On a totally personal note, after six years of marriage (after ten years of dating), I still feel like we're at the very beginning of our journey together! It's a lovely feeling.
Thanks for stopping by!
