Thank you so much for all the get well wishes! I'm still coughing, but definitely feeling ten times better than I did over the weekend. That said, sitting on the couch did have its benefits. On Saturday I spent seven hours watching a Harry Potter marathon and stitching up a wolf mask.
It's for the Mister to wear to a wedding we're going to. That's right, we're going to a Halloween-themed costumes required wedding. Having not done Halloween in a long long long time, I had to put on my thinking cap.
I bought a Little Red Riding Hood costume for myself from SpeedyCostumes on etsy.
FYI: If you order from her shop and mention that you were referred by Balzer Designs, you'll get a 10% discount.
Once I knew that I was going as Little Red Riding Hood it was time to conquer the Mister's costume. I knew he would absolutely refuse to wear anything cutesy or cumbersome. So, I decided to stitch up a super simple wolf mask. I bought the pattern from the oxeyedaisy etsy shop. Luckily, I had everything I needed on hand (hooray for the stash!) and so I simply sat down to stitch and stitch and stitch.
Yesterday, as he was headed off to work, I forced him to put on the mask so that I could take some photos for this blog. (We're going to have to talk about why he's wearing it so low, but I think it still looks great!)
I'm pretty sure a mask turns everybody into a goofball -- no matter how old we may be!
Thanks for stopping by!
