The Weekend Five: One-Minute Sketches

I'm taking a figure drawing/painting class at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) here in NYC.  On Wednesday we had to do a series of one-minute sketches, focused on shading rather than line.  And we had to use a big clunky graphite bar.  Eek!

I have a lot of trouble getting the whole figure on the page.  I always end up cutting off the legs.  Something to work on.
