Before I get to today's post, I just wanted to share that I'm teaching as part of Life Book 2017. It's an amazing line up of talented teachers:
What is Life Book? It's a year-long online art journaling class. You can read more about it here. If you'd like to sign up, I'd appreciate it if you'd use THIS LINK because I will get a percentage of your class fee and that's how I get paid for teaching the class. Thank you in advance. :)
Now, onto today's post:
My friend Nat was here in Boston for three days of food, fun, and friendship. And to keep it alliterative: funny faces....
Of course, I *had* to take her to see my new local museum: the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA). We saw a lot of art (although it was still only a fraction of what the museum has to offer).
Come to the museum with us....
The MFA has this amazing ceiling in their rotunda. To help you see it without craning your neck, they have a table height mirror tilted towards the ceiling. I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a selfie with Nat!
The view you see here is of one of the restaurants in the MFA. It sits inside a sort of great room that the MFA uses for its gatherings. Tomorrow I'll share some photos of the art you would see if you were taking this photo and simply turned around (because that's exactly what I did)!
Thanks for stopping by!
