I was delighted to return to Papercraft Clubhouse to teach a weekend of classes. This was my first time visiting them in their new space and it's wonderful! The classroom is large and spacious and the owner, Tracie, really knows her mixed media stuff. Great stock of stuff I wanted (and bought). Check out the photos of all the fun we had:
Friday night was "Make Foam Stamps." I taught the students how to make all kinds of stamps, including seamlessly repeating patterns!
The final class I taught was "Gelli + Deli" which is all about creating Gelatin Prints on Deli Paper. I start at the very beginning and then teach people how to make focused and purposeful layered prints.
I had a ton of fun hanging out with students both familiar and new-to-me. People who love art making are the best kind of people, in my opinion. There's always something to talk about and lots to share!
btw: I know that many of you have asked me about teaching in the Boston area. I'm currently working on a deal for April 22 & 23 in Watertown, MA. I will update as soon as everything is in place.
Thanks for stopping by!
