2Daisies Designs

2Daisies sent out packets of product to their Design Team Hopefuls. I've been out of of town and I came home to find mine waiting for me yesterday. Enclosed in the package were five pieces of patterned paper, a WordBloom mini album and a letter indicating that the designs are due tomorrow! Eek! So, I got to work and here's what I came up with:

BIANCA IS

The black border is for viewing purposes only. I handcut flowers, stars and heads from patterned paper. After creating a “strip” of the flowers and stars, I used foam adhesive to pop up the five heads. The title and the circle element were both cut using the Klic-N-Kut.

SILLY FACES

I cut the jester skull face out of a piece of patterned paper and adhered it with foam adhesive. The jester skulls seen on the left side of the layout are stamped. I carved a stamp based on the image from the patterned paper.

LAMINATED PAPER JEWELRY

I used contact paper to laminate these heads that I cut out from a sheet of 2Daisies paper. I made three necklaces and a pair of earrings. Two of the necklaces are built on rubber necklaces and the third is made from chain. Pretty fun!

FRIENDS WORDBLOOMS ALBUM

This album was quick and easy to put together. I used a combination of 4x6 vertical photos and 5x7 horizontal photos. Each of the letters in the word “friends” has patterned paper adhered with machine stitching. The book is also bound with machine stitching. I simply stitched down the spine (three times for strength). The closure is a strip of patterned paper with a star I cut out of the paper and a magnet holding it shut. Throughout the book, are some of my favorite quotes about friendship.
