Some New Work...
Tweezerbee Precision Tweezers (Reverse Grip): A Love Letter

July at Just Let Me Scrapbook!

Just Let Me Scrapbook has a ton of great stuff on sale this month! Check it out if you're looking for some bargains! In the meantime, here are my design team projects for this month:

Here's the 411 on how I made this box: I took a gift box somebody had given me and I gently pulled it apart. I scanned the flattened version and used Photoshop Elements to convert the image into a line drawing. I then turned that line drawing into a Klic-N-Kut file and used my Klic-N-Kut to cut it. (An easier way to do this would have been to just trace the box!) I scored the fold lines with a dry embossing tool on top of a piece of craft foam. I folded it up, decorated it, added the handle, and voila! An adorable box. It's held shut with Basic Grey magnetic snaps. Super easy.

I love, love, love these My Mind's Eye papers. They're so pretty together! This was a really easy way to do journaling. While we were waiting for our plane to board, my husband and I wrote down all the things we would remember about the trip. To make this layout, I simply chose a few items (we have seven typed pages of notes! LOL!) to highlight. I love that I get his perspective on this layout!

I went a bit crazy with the sewing machine here! I even sewed lines for the journaling! Eeek! Also, it's subtle, but note the sort of white distressing on the blue paper? I placed the chipboard swirls underneath the paper and sanded it. Pretty cool.

Thanks for looking!
