Woo Hoo! I am soooooooooo excited! Late last night, I received the following e-mail: Julie, I absolutely love your style...especially that really fun jewelry. Anyways I would like to invite you to be a part of our official design team. Wow! I am so thrilled to be a part of the 2Daisies Designs Design Team! It's my first manufacturer team and I'm excited to learn more about the business, and to find out how it will differ from the work I've done before. Bernina Stitch Regulator: Love at First Stitch!

I'm in love! As I think I've mentioned before, I take a Dear Jane class at The City Quilter once a month. Well, I was in the shop today for class and checking out the new classroom sewing machines from Bernina. I have a Bernina at home (different model, though), so most of the computer buttons were familiar. But, there were a few I couldn't figure out. I think that there are many people who are deeply generous with... Read more →

Digital! Hybrid! Eeek!

I feel like I somehow crossed over to the dark side. I've been resisting digital and hybrid scrapbooking forever. Or at least, it feels like forever. Why? Well, I barely know what I'm doing in Photoshop. I can never follow those digital articles in the magazines. I love the feel of paper! I feel completely inept with my laptop mouse (finger pad). But, something happened to me today and I did two layouts: one hybrid and one digital! Eeek! Here's the hybrid layout: What is hybrid? Basically, it's anything that combines digital and traditional scrapbooking. On this layout, I created... Read more →

New Altered Pencil Lines Projects!

Check out the blog for this week's installment of fabulous creations! I had originally wanted to sew something, but my machine is in the shop for a tune up. So, I used my embellisher (needle felting machine) to make a sunglass case. If you like felting, there's also a darling felt bag that Anam made for this week's challenge. All of it can be seen here. Later! Read more →
