Portrait Bug Week: Day Six

Four for you today:

  1. Portrait Bug tutorial
  2. Around the Block giveaway!
  3. Toot!
  4. Ranger U., baby!

1. Portrait Bug tutorial

This is, perhaps, one of my absolute most favorite albums ever.

Supplies: Patterned Paper (Dream Street, Kaiser); Rhinestone Frame (Kaiser); Journaling Cards (Jenni Bowlin Die-Cut Mini Label Papers); Letter Stickers (Jenni Bowlin, Adornit Carolee’s Creations); Pens (Sakura Pigma Micron, Uniball Signo); Rub-ons (Jenni Bowlin); Embroidery Floss (DMC)

I'm going to be teaching this book as a class at Portrait Bug.  Nevertheless, I'm going to teach you how I sewed the binding on this book.  Press play to watch the video.

2. Around the Block Giveaway!

Want to win a Paper Tagger from Around the Block?

ATB is giving one of these bad boys away to anyone who posts a comment on their blog by Monday, October 13 at noon MST.  If you're not familiar with the Paper Tagger, it's a quick and easy way to attach tags, flowers, or any embellishment you can think of.  If you've ever cut a tag off of a new shirt, you've seen what the Paper Tagger can do.  Check out the ATB blog for some project ideas!

3. Toot!

This has been a very lucky few days.  More good news in my inbox yesterday: I had a layout picked up by Memory Makers Magazine!

4. Ranger U., baby!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!  Here are some photos from day one...

In the morning we played with beeswax and UTEE in the Melt Pot with Suze Weinberg.  In the afternoon, Claudine Hellmuth took over and we found ourselves covered in paint!  I learned soooooo much and the day just flew by!  Can't wait to see what today's lessons will bring!

Thanks for stopping by!
