Let's Talk About Label Tulip

I've got five awesome Label Tulip sneak peeks for you today.  Here they are...

The kit goes up for sale on February 15.

Some ladies on the Label Tulip message board were gushing about February's guest designer, Dina Wakely.  I am embarrassed to say that I had no idea who she was, so I googled her and found her blog.  Wow!  Wow!  Wow!  Her work is absolutely *amazing* and soooooo cool!  You have to check her out!  I can't wait to see what she does with the kit!!!

Oh, and Cathy over at Label Tulip invited me to put together a project kit.  So, I'm picking some of my favorite goodies from CHA and pulling together an awesome kit!  I'll let you know when it goes up for sale (in a few months most likely).

On a potentially related note, I stumbled across TapeSwell today.  It's a site that offers decorative packing tape of all kinds.  Here's my favorite.

There are tons more styles that are just too cool.  (For all you wood grain fans, there's a wood grain pattern too!)  I'm definitely going to have to order some!

Finally, I have to share these gorgeous Valentine's Day cards that my Mother made at the Right at Home crop on Friday night.

Mom-Valentine's-DayCards

We lucked into a huge stash of vintage photographs my Aunt had been holding on to.  The little girl in the kerchief and the Indian dancer are both my Mom as a little girl.  And then the color photo on the card in the foreground is me and my Mom when I was about four-years-old.  And you can't really see it, but in the card with the orange heart is a photo of my Aunt and Uncle kissing at their wedding.  When the full reveal of my Label Tulip projects happens on the 15th, you'll see that I used a number of the vintage photos as well.

Thanks for stopping by!
