I Made Christmas Cards

I wrote this post on December 19.  But when I finished it, I realized that I couldn't post it until after Christmas since my family reads this blog and I wanted the cards to be a surprise.  So, I've set it to auto-publish on Christmas Day.  Merry Christmas to those of  you who celebrate the holiday!

Well, really, they're Christmakkuh cards.  (Since we celebrate both Christmas and Hannukah.)  But since I'm going to hand the cards to my family on the 25th, I think of them as Christmas cards.  I made two sets.  One set for me to give and one set for the hubs to give.  Take a peek at the first set:

Super simple.  The background is some homemade Glimmer Mist sprayed over a Glimmer Screen.  The little silver snowflake thing is a pewter bead cap popped up on foam adhesive.  I stamped the sentiment with red, brown and blue Staz On, using a set of alphabet stamps from Studio Calico.

For the second set of cards, I went a little more complicated:

I used Tim Holtz's idea of turning fragments into ornaments.  Find the instructions here.  Here are some individual cards:
