Randomness today!

(1) Thanks so much for all of your lovely and generous comments on my studio!  I love hearing what you think!  And to answer a stray question from the comments....

I am in LOVE with your space! What's in the filing cabinet that the tv is on? I love knowing what's in all the drawers too....lol.

The top drawer is manuals (for everything electronic that comes into this apartment) and diaries/art journals.  (I have kept a daily diary on and off for 16 years.)  The rest of the drawers are stuffed full of magazines (beading, quilting, scrapbooking, etc.).  It's getting to the point where I really need to purge.  Honestly, I can't remember the last time I went in there to look for something!

(2) I'm thrilled that I've been keeping up with Ali's Week in the Life album!  This has been a tough week with some serious drama, but c'est la vie, that's the roll of the dice, right?  To make it easier for myself, I made a digital template.  And at the end of every day I've been adding my main photo(s) for the day and basic journaling. 

I plan to do the "pretty" pages when I get a little more time.  But at least the essentials are noted.  I haven't taken hundreds of photos, but enough to have something to put together for the rest of each day.

(3) I've been playing with some Shimmerz Blingz, which were very generously given to me. 

Blingz is a tiny little pot of paint-like stuff.  When you open the tiny container you have to mix it as the liquid and the glitter-ish material have separated.  I was blown away by how thick and shiny they were. 

I particularly liked the Royal Red (it's on the left in the photo.)  The color was more pink in my opinion, but super vibrant.  I only have two complaints: (1) they smell a little funny - not bad, just odd - and (2) the pots are too small!  I want a *huge* container!
