Fabric ATCs
September 06, 2010
My Journal Quilt Class at The City Quilter has come to an end. At least for now. And at the last class we swapped ATCs. I had fun making mine...
...and even more fun swapping and getting to take home a little piece of art from each of my students!
To make mine I started with some muslin and stitched a flower pattern.
Then I painted the flower pattern with acrylic paint and a lot of water (so that the paint would bleed everywhere).
Then I cut the large piece into 2.5"x3.5" ATC size pieces.
I stitched around the edges, overdyed some of the remnants from the orginal piece, and embellished each of the ATCs with the overdyed remnants. Check it out:
Thanks for stopping by!
