I'm delighted to share that I'm heading back to California in May!  I'll be teaching three classes at Cloth Paper Scissors' CREATE mixed media retreat in Costa Mesa, CA!  So, Cali girls, I hope you'll come out and see me!  My classes are always lots and lots of messy fun!

Layered Images: Printing for Fabric and Paper

And yep, the poppies are hitting the West Coast!  For those of you who missed my workshop at the Ink Pad this weekend (yesterday's post), I'll be teaching it in California!

In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to carve stamps.  You’ll learn how to transfer an image to your carving block, tips and tricks for masterful carving, and some helpful hints about using inks and paints with your stamps.  But the real star of the parade of techniques is that you will learn how to create multiple layered stamps of the same image for a screen-printed look!  This is a fun and easy class.  You’ll be blown away by what you can create in just a few hours!

Hope to see you in class!
