A Little Bit of Crafty-ness for Passover

We celebrated Passover by having a whole bunch of our friends over for a big Passover seder!

(By the way, looking at this picture I had to laugh.  I can see some boxes that *still* haven't been unpacked from our move almost two years ago!)

I got a little crafty with the place settings:

Placesetting
Patterned Paper placemat, napkin ring made from patterned paper, paper flower, and a fabric leaf...

Napkinring
...and of course adorable quilted placecards!

And of course, I love the beautiful banners hanging from the ceiling, along with some "Plague Finger Puppets" dangling in the middle!

But I have to give my Mom credit for the best crafty idea of the day!  We couldn't find the candlesticks, so she made these:

Applecandlesticks
Hollowed out some apples and voila!  Really cool candlesticks!

When all of our guests had gone home, we put them in the sink to burn down overnight.

I thought they were spectacularly cool!

Finally, here are my husband and my brother working hard to get everything in order for the seder:
