After seeing so many people (Vintagepix, Pokey, Dharma Trading, google search)making awesome sun prints with Pebeo Setacolor paints, I knew that I had to try it for myself. So I ordered a set of the translucent paints -- the only ones that react with sunlight/heat. I immediately had a problem to solve: You have to leave the fabric and sun blocking material out in the sun for at least an hour. I have a very windy 17th floor terrace. Last night was the first Art Journaling Club! We had such a good time! Or at least, I did! It was so great to have some familiar students and lots of new ones...and a man! This is the first time a man has taken one of my classes. Paul was great - he's a watercolor-ist! In fact, everyone was great with lots of interesting stories and beautiful journals. This summer I've been taking a class on Thursday nights at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). It's called "Drawing and Mixed Media Collage."
