Saying Goodbye to the Prima Design Team

Thank you for your gracious outpouring of kind words and enthusiastic encouragement at yesterday's big news.  I am eternally grateful for the wonderful comments you leave on this blog.  They make sharing such a joy every single day!  Thank you!  Thank you!  And now on to today's regularly scheduled blog post....

Today is my last day as a Prima Girl. 

I have been lucky enough to be on the Prima Marketing Design Team for the last few years.  This time around I made the decision not to reapply.  I am very busy with some fun new projects and the timing seemed right to make some space in my life for new adventures.  This leaves me design team free and I'm feeling really good about the decision to move into a new phase of my creative life.

I will continue to teach Live with Prima online classes (yay!) so I'm not saying goodbye entirely.

However, I thought we could take a peek back at some of the projects I made during my time on the Prima design team:

Would you believe me if I told you that this is about half of the projects I've made for Prima over the past three years?  Because that's the truth.  Lots of good memories, both contained in the stories on the layouts and associated with making each of those projects!

So, thank you to Prima Marketing for taking a chance on that weird girl who scraps in such a non-Prima way.  I've loved every minute of being a Prima Girl!  And the experience has definitely shaped how I make art today!  I am a better and more confident artist.  I learned a lot about the industry.  And I discovered a lot about marketing and being true to yourself.
