Awesome-tastic Fun at The Ink Pad
August 01, 2011
On Saturday we got our ink on at The Ink Pad. A super fun class filled with super talented ladies and I had a great time! It was a particularly exciting class for me, for two reasons:
- I got to see the students using the stencils I designed! It is such a neat experience to see people take something from your brain and filter it through their brain! Love that!
- The Ink Pad has already had to re-order the stencils because they sold out in two days! :)
Now let's get to the photos!
Karen is always a pleasure to have in class and she really made the Henna Hand stencil shine! She posted the following on my Facebook wall after class: "This was one of the best classes EVER!!!!!" Thanks, Karen! I have to agree! It was a lot of fun!
Christina was very sweet and had the best stamps with her! (Love those hands.)
Double Trouble (a.k.a. Marybeth and Joanne) came all the way from Massachusetts for class! They were super sarcastic (my kind of ladies) and kept us all laughing!
I even had a little time to get painty in class myself. Yummy layers!
A quick pic of Ida and me showing off her book. Ida came into NYC from New Jersey and is just starting to teach classes herself!
How gorgeous is Karen's hand carved lotus stamp? I loooooooooooove it!
You may remember that I interviewed Sandy for my "Talking Craft" series.
I love the look of painty stencils, don't you?
All in all a very inspiring day! I had a great time and I think everyone else did too!
Thanks for stopping by!
