Sizzix Blog Hop: Painted Photo Album

Recently I was sent the Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die #657122, otherwise known as the photo album die by Eileen Hull.  This is an image of the official sample from the Sizzix site and then an image of the die below it:

The die cuts three shapes: a cover, a spine with a decorative edge and perforations for folding, and a bookplate frame shape.  And it cuts matboard!

I mixed the die up with some paint from EcoGreen Crafts, the stencils I designed for The Crafter's Workshop, and a couple of file folders and this is what I came up with:

Though it looks tiny my album actually has twenty-four pages! So this die is great for making a mini book with lots and lots of photos!

You'll notice that I trimmed off the scallop edge detail on the spine.

It was easy to trim it off and I like the versatility of being able to have it or not.

Now take a hop around and see some of the other wonderful projects people have created with this fabulous die!

Thanks for stopping by!
