Adventures Ahead

I'm leaving for Germany and the Mixed Media Circus event today.

When we planned it for Thanksgiving time, the original plan was for my husband to come along for the ride.  Sadly, he has to stay behind as a very good friend of his is getting married.  But sweet sweet Nat has offered to drag me around Hamburg and Berlin.  And although we've known each other for a long time, we've never made art together in the same space.  I'm kind of hoping to trade in a day of sightseeing for a day of art making.  There's nothing quite like making art with friends.

My second adventure is a trip to Colorado, about twenty-four hours after I get back from Germany.  I'm heading there for a super secret crafty mission (probably easy to guess) and planning to see Emily and Ronda while I'm in town, as well as the Denver Art Museum.

But all of that travel means some uncertain ability to blog.  So I've lined up daily posts for you over the next two weeks -- some are "from the archives" and some are brand new, but all will hopefully inspire!

Today I will leave you with a quick layout I made using the banner stamps from this post.

And I'll be tweeting my adventures in Germany and Colorado, so stop by my twitter page to read about my artful adventures!

Thanks for stopping by!
