It's Coming: Stamp Carving 101
December 12, 2011
You've asked and now I'm going to give it to you!
There are lots of ways to make your own stamps, but this class is solely about mastering carving rubber stamps with a linoleum cutter.
It may look intimidating, but it’s super easy to do! I will show you both the basics and nuances of stamp carving.
Over the course of the class you will carve basic stamps, decorative stamps, cursive words, small repeating designs, frames, an entire alphabet, and even a stamp based on a photograph!
The class is hosted on a private password protected blog with a gallery and private message board on flickr. You will have access to the class forever.
This class is intended for those with little to no stamp carving experience. If you have carved stamps before, some of the content may be repetitive.
These are the supplies I'll be using in class:
Lessons will be released on Mondays and Thursdays for five weeks: January 16 – February 19
The cost is just $30.
Within 24 hours of your purchase you will receive an e-mail from me with a password and username.
Hope to see you in the classroom!

P.P.S. My friend Judi is a finalist in the Washington Post 2011 Holiday Craft contest! You can vote for her snowflake garland (or any of the other finalists) here.
P.P.P.S. I can't remember if I mentioned this on my blog or if I just tweeted/Facebooked it, but Copic was kind enough to feature an interview with me on their blog. Let me know what you think!
