You may have guessed from Nat's post about my terrorizing her that I actually enjoy organizing and I suspect that even those who don't enjoy the process, enjoy the results. So I figured we could spend a week in January organizing our crafty stashes and tick one of those pesky New Year's resolutions off the list right away.
"Organization Week" is a celebration of can-do organizing! And you're all invited! If you come to this blog between January 9 and 15, you will find lots of useful information about organizing your crafty goodies. But like any ambitious hostess, I'm looking for some volunteers to help me out.
Is there some aspect of your stash that you've organized perfectly? A storage system you swear by? An act of clever budget organizing you're burning to share?
I'm looking for clear, crisp, beautiful photos of your organizational pride point and a brief explanation of why it rocks. For example, if you have the perfect system for patterned paper, send me some pics and tell me exactly why it's perfect for you. How did you come to this system? What else did you try? How has it changed your art making process? Etc.
If you're interested in participating, you can e-mail me at balzerdesigns AT gmail DOT com.
Organization Week is going to be awesome! Grab a button by copying the code in the box below and get ready to rock!

Also, the very talented May Flaum has a new class at Big Picture Classes that looks awesome (register here)!
Here's the description from May:
I have dearly loved each and every class that I have put together for Big Picture. I am constantly adding, upgrading, improving, and taking suggestions to heart. Now, after many months of plotting, creating, and pulling it all together I'm thrilled to introduce you to my first class of 2012: The Curious Scrapbooker's Field Guide: 12 Weeks of Techniques and Creative Play.
Not just layouts, or simple inspiration either: this course will get you deep into the techniques, fundamentals, ideas, and process of creating layouts, altered projects, tags, and more. From stencils to inks, paper punches to pens, I am working with all kinds of products and have a lot of ideas to show you. Bringing them to life like you've never seen in my previous classes, this twelve week course is packed with more than fifty videos, not to mention the handouts, active classroom, and so much more.
Are you ready for the really exciting part: May has allowed me to give away a seat in this fabulous new class! Simply leave a comment letting me know why this class interests you and I'll choose a random winner on Wednesday!
You can learn more about the class and listen to a short audio introduction from May on the Big Picture Classes website.
