I had a wonderful time in Santa Ana, CA. I had never met Jenny Doh -- I only knew her through her reputation and via e-mail. But when she picked me up wearing fuzzy bear ears, I knew we'd be friends!
Jenny is participating in "The Uniform Project." It's a year-long challenge to wear the same dress every single day for 365 days as a way of raising money for and bringing attention to the education of underprivleged children in India.
You can watch the video to see what the original creator, Sheena, wore for a year:
The CrescendoH studio is a lovely space in a historic building in Santa Ana, CA. The walls are filled with art and color and there are large windows that cast tons of natural light over the tables.
I knew it was going to be a good day when I peeked out of my hotel window at 7:30am and saw the gorgeous morning light reflected.
The day did not disappoint. We had some awesome inky fun!
We even got to eat lunch *outside* in February! Very exciting for this East Coast girl!
The very best news is that I've been invited back to teach after CHA next year! I'm looking forward to it! So put it in your calendar, because you won't want to miss all the painty fun!
Thanks for stopping by!
