Art of Layers by Ronda Palazzari
March 22, 2012
Today I want to talk to you about my sweet, talented, energetic, and generous friend Ronda Palazzari.
Here are just a few of the beautiful projects from her blog:
Ronda and her family live outside of Denver, Colorado.
And as you might be able to guess from the photo above, Ronda has just written a book called "Art of Layers."
Here is F&W media’s description of the book:
“Basic scrapbooking has you place photos and embellishments on cardstock or patterned paper - easy and...well, basic. The next step for most scrapbookers is layering. But trying to get that rich, interesting layered look can be very intimidating. Where do you even start? "Art of Layers" teaches scrapbookers and beginning mixed media artists just how easy it is to get to that layered look in any papercrafting project. Author Ronda Palazzari teaches readers 50+ techniques that will serve as tools to pull out whenever a layered look is desired. The chapters allow the reader to build their skills, from paper techniques they won't be afraid to try adding fabric, embellishments, and stamping to finally giving spray inks, paints and gesso a try.”
And this is the image that Ronda asked me to share with you today. It's from the stamping section of "Art of Layers" and it's full of texture and color (two of my favorite things)!
I'm super excited about Ronda's book! And I hope that you are too. If you would like to win an autographed copy of Ronda's book, simpy leave an answer to the following question in the comments section of this blog post:
