Holiday Tips
January 21, 2013
One of the things about living in an apartment building in New York City is that there are lots of holiday tips to hand out. There are twelve people who work in my building. Every year I try to make cards or something pretty to hand out cash in. This year I used my Gelli Plate to decorate coin envelopes:
For the labels, I used some Hambly rub-ons on top of white-on-white patterned paper. Then I cut out each label and affixed them to the envelope. After that it was simply a matter of typing out the names. I love my typewriter. One of my best art purchases ever!
Although I made these for holiday tips, you could use the same idea for any paper gift (cash, check, gift certificate, gift card, coupon, etc.)!
Thanks for stopping by!
