Art Journal Every Day: More May Dailies

I'm back to share a peek at a few more pages in my art journal.  Last week I believe we left off with some pages I had done while traveling, so I only had a ballpoint pen with me to decorate the pages.

The white paper is a piece of scrap paper, but don't you love how the face peeks out through that heart?  Total accident, but a very happy one!

I put my pen to good use, creating big blocky letters with shadows.

When I prepped the page (before I left home) with the yellow paint, I couldn't bear to paint over this pink area.  Too pretty.  So I left it.  And I like how it stands out.

The stamp set I used for the dates is one that I carved myself.  It's one of my favorites.  I keep saying that I need to make a set like it that people can buy, because it's just so cool!

I love the way this face worked out with the upside down hearts.  The glitter line hits her in just the right place!

I rarely do a spread with a white background, so this one feels a little weird to me.

Since the background was white, I switched my usual black ink for red and I quite like the way it looks.

The colored stripes are washi tape!  It's such an easy way to add color and pattern to your art journal.

The dividing page is a sheet of deli paper which I stitched words to.

Only one entry made it onto this page.  I couldn't bear to do anything but let the pretty feathers shine!
