Filming the Brother ScanNCut Infomercial
September 23, 2013
Last week I headed to New Jersey for a fun assignment: filming an informercial for the new Brother ScanNCut. Here are a few photos from my adventure:
One of the unexpected and fun tasks I was given on set was to stage some of the projects for photos.
I really enjoyed it and had a brief fantasty of running away and becoming a photo stylist. Wouldn't that be a super cool job?
Speaking of cool jobs, the one I have is pretty darn awesome. I love doing on-camera work and I won't lie: I love getting all made up and glamorous. It makes me feel like a little girl playing dress up in my Mother's high heels!
Of course, the best part of the whole experience was the people. I got to hang out with some very cool and crafty girls.
Be sure to visit and bookmark their blogs because over the next month or two they'll be sharing lots of awesome step-by-step instructions for projects using the ScanNCut!
When filming wrapped on Friday night, we piled into a car and headed into my hood: Times Square, for dinner and some wandering.
As you can imagine, we had a blast!
In November, the half hour infomercial will start airing on network TV in twenty different cities. I'm totally excited to see what it looks like. Nervous too, but I have my fingers crossed that it will be awesome and get people really excited about the ScanNCut!
Thanks for stopping by!
