Magazine Love
September 17, 2013
I've been lucky enough to be published in several magazines recently! You can see my artwork on the cover of I Heart Paper Magazine:
Inside the issue I share how to make the paper feathers and the heart shaped wreath that you see. It's a beautiful magazine filled with lots of good ideas!
In the current issue of Studios Magazine, I'm honored to have a multi-page feature all about my artistic life.
Editor, Jenn Mason, spent a morning with me taking photos of my every day life (the photos on the right are of what I see from my apartment). It was lots of fun!
You may or may not know that I write a column for Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine. It's called "Adventures in Arting" and it's all about the business of art. This month's column is all about making instructional videos.
Cloth Paper Scissors is a really wonderful magazine. It's filled with instructions for all sorts of cool techniques and unique mixed media projects. Before I wrote a column, I had a subscription for years. It's well worth the money and available both as a paper magazine and an e-magazine (especially handy for those who live outside the U.S.).
Finally, you can find my tutorial on creating a crayon resist in the current issue of Somerset Apprentice.
This is a magazine I had never seen before. It's packed with technique tutorials!
Thanks for letting me share my excitement with you! It's absolutely thrilling to me each time I see my name and my artwork in print!
Thanks for stopping by!
