Art Journal Every Day: October Begins
November 01, 2013
If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here. All of the previous posts can be found archived here. There is a flickr group for sharing right here. Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day! No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post. Thanks!
Today I'm sharing some daily pages from the beginning of October. They also happen to be the final pages in this art journal. It's always exciting to wrap up a journal and get ready to start a new one. I tend to do a quick flip through all the pages before I stick the journal onto a shelf. Do you do that too?
I used my "Profile" stencil for the central figure.
As you know, I work in a junque journal and sometimes there are bits that are so pretty I can't bear to cover them up. This little patch is an example of that.
Almost every page I do these days has some kind of block letters with an angled shadow. I just can't help myself!
I cut the "2" out of a tag using the ScanNCut and then backed it with a scrap of black paper.
This is a leftover scrap of a Gelli Print based on my "Silhouette Script" stencil.
This face was done with markers.
This was a test print from my Life Book class that found a home in my art journal.
So there you have it, the last few pages of my journal. The end of one journal signaling the beginning of another!
Here is this week's linky list:
Thanks for stopping by!
