Taste of Collage at The Ink Pad

My sweet friend Nathalie and I had a great time teaching together at The Ink Pad here in NYC.  We had a wonderful (and hardy) group of women.  Hardy because the heat wasn't working and it was *freezing* -- by the end of the day my fingers were numb.  However, we did learn that heat guns work as space heaters in a pinch!  ;)

It was super fun to teach with Nathalie.  We have different ways of approaching making art, but we both have the same approach to teaching -- no rules, creative freedom, plenty of information, and lots of fun!  Twenty-five creative women joined us for the day -- check out all the bright and colorful fun....

You can read all about the class from Nathalie's perspective HERE.  Also check out Jessica Sporn's blog post on being a student in this class HERE.

Thank you to all the intrepid souls who braved the cold to make art!  I'm always so grateful to my students for taking a leap of faith and trusting me to guide them through the steps.  Being a student can be a very vulnerable thing.

I'll be teaching again at The Ink Pad in November.

Registration is open
if you'd like to join me!  If you don't live in NYC, sign up for class anyway!  There are always plenty of out-of-town students and The Ink Pad can recommend some very nice hotels right near the class space.  Consider a weekend trip to NYC, won't you?

Thanks for stopping by!
