If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here. All of the previous posts can be found archived here. There is a flickr group for sharing right here. Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day! No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post. Thanks!
I've got some daily pages to share with you today! I've been a very sporadic journaler as of late. I've been traveling a lot and swamped with deadlines and...well, I'm full of excuses. But I did manage to finish up this journal and make and start a brand new one! So, here are the last four pages of this lovely journal.
This tag date is part of my ongoing quest to make my dates more interesting.
As I've mentioned before in other posts, I bound a bunch of shorter pages into this journal and it's kind of fun when they come up because you can see the other pages peeking out below and above!
I often find myself sticking with a theme or color scheme for several pages. I used a few hearts in a row here, including the big one you see above.
The stenciling in the face was done with watercolor paints.
This is a leftover cut from a test project I created using the ScanNCut. I simply cut the scrap into a wonky circle and glued it into my journal!
The big number 1 is a hand carved stamped colored with a white pen.
I used a Moonlight pen to create the hot pink stripes you see.
I worked on this face very slowly over several weeks (sporadically) and I love how it turned out. I'm learning more and more how much I love working on things over time!
So, here's to the end of a journal and the start of a clean and fresh new one! Hooray!
Here is this week's linky list:
As always, I'd love to know if any of the pages, techniques, or ideas I've shared excites you!
Thanks for stopping by!
