She makes everything ScanNCut related happen and she takes very good care of me on the road. I was disastrously sick on this trip, so I felt super lucky to have her. If you've read my book, Carve Stamp Play, you know that the only block I carve stamps out of is Speedy Carve. However, I came across a product in the Blick online store that I had to try: Blick Readycut. It's a carving block that is made up of a thin grey layer on top of a white layer. Today I'm sharing my last two classes from CREATE! If you've never been to an art retreat, I highly recommend it. It's a wonderful opportunity to take classes from lots of different teachers and to meet a ton of wonderful like minded folks! People travel for retreats and it's so worth it! Back in 2011 I taught a class in San Antonio, TX. Leslie Tucker Jenison was kind enough to put me up for a few nights. On that visit, she brought me to visit her husband Tim's workshop.
