October 09, 2014
I'm delighted to bring you another episode of the Adventures in Arting Podcast!
If you do not see the podcast player above, please click on this link. You can listen to a podcast anywhere and at any time. It is a recording that is available to you whenever you'd like to listen. If you'd like to download it to your iTunes library, click here. You can also pause and rewind or fast forward as you desire. I like to listen to podcasts while I'm making art. It's a little like hanging out with friends while you art.
Today we're talking to Vanessa Vargas Wilson.
Best known as the Crafty Gemini, she is a former law professor who chose to pursue a YouTube career instead.
She posts instructional videos, teaching viewers how to do everything from sewing and quilting to organic gardening and canning.
She quit her job as a college law professor to pursue her Crafty Gemini business full-time. HERE is an interview she did that tells more about her business.
- My YouTube channel for 250+ tutorials on a ton of different things including sewing, quilting, crochet, cooking, gardening, canning, etc.
- My online classes and PDF patterns website.
On the podcast we discuss homesteading, homeschooling, the business of art, standing up for yourself and demanding a fair price, YouTube, and Vanessa's very interesting career path.
Be sure to leave us your comments and questions. I always like to know what's on your mind. Thanks for stopping by!
