The Weekend Five: A Visit to HSN
Foiling Technique #2: Toner Copy & Laminator

Foiling Technique #1: Rubber Cement and Stencils

Foil -- especially gold foil -- was a hot trend at CHA (the Craft & Hobby Association show).  It was on so many supplies and projects and the Heidi Swapp's Minc foiling machine was one of the most talked about items at the show.  It got me thinking that maybe I should share some of my favorite techniques for using transfer foil!  It's easy to do and the supplies are readily available.  I had everything I needed for the techniques I'm going to show you in my stash.  In fact, every day this week I'll be sharing techniques for foiling!  Wheeeeee!

First up: Rubber Cement and Stencils.  So easy to do with great looking results!

Supplies

Please note: The transfer foil I used is from a company that no longer seems to be using business.  I have provided some alternative suggestions in the supply list above.  The stencils I used are new releases and are not yet available!  The names of the stencils are: "Rug" and "Repeating Pods." Available Balzer Designs stencils with a similar feeling are "Stacked Triangles" and "Blazonry," which I've included in the supply list above.

Thanks for stopping by!
