A Few Scrapbook Soup TV Projects
April 14, 2015
As you know I host a TV show on PBS called, "Scrapbook Soup." As the name suggests, the core of the show is scrapbooking, but we do a lot of off-the-page projects too -- home decor, greeting cards, even some art journaling! As always, the focus is on techniques that can be applied to any kind of art-making.
We are filming our next season in May and so I'm busily working on projects! Today I thought I'd share a few with you. Over the next few weeks, I'm sure you'll see a lot more of them!
I made these cute Project Life cards using Koi Coloring Brush Pens:
And then put them to good use in a Project Life spread:
I played with some shrink plastic and Sakura Pen Touch Markers to create some super cute shrink plastic embellishments:
I used two on this scrapbook page:
And one on this Christmas Card:
I always think a wonky little handmade embellishment makes a project really unique and special! Don't you?
The new season of Scrapbook Soup airs in October. You can watch previous seasons on your local PBS station, online, or by purchasing DVDs of the show.
I'm looking forward to sharing many more projects with you in the coming weeks! After October you'll be able to watch the show with all the step-by-step instructions and download free project instruction sheets from the Scrapbook Soup website!
Thanks for stopping by!
