I'm delighted to bring you another episode of the Adventures in Arting Podcast!
If you do not see the podcast player above, please click on this link. You can listen to a podcast anywhere and at any time. It is a recording that is available to you whenever you'd like to listen. If you'd like to download it to your iTunes library, click here. You can also pause and rewind or fast forward as you desire. I like to listen to podcasts while I'm making art. It's a little like hanging out with friends while you art.
Our guest today is Leslie Tucker Jenison.
- Jamie Fingal and Leslie are curating year 3 of “What’s For Dinner?” which will debut at the International Quilt Festival in October, 2015.
- They are also curating “Affinity” for Dinner At Eight Artists, also debuting at the International Quilt Festival in October, 2015.
- Leslie will be participating in the 2nd “Not Fade Away” conference, sponsored by the Quilt Alliance, in Herndon VA in July, 2015.
- Leslie is also about to begin a big remodel of her studio (YAY and UGH, simultaneously!).
On the podcast we discuss the weather in Texas, Leslie's studio remodel, art quilting, modern quilting, art cloth, Gee's Bend quilts, curating an exhibition, rejection, learning and being uncomfortable, and longarm quilting (I want one, please!). I hope you enjoy the conversation. Add your voice in the comments section below!
