Art Journal Every Day: Some April Treats from the Flickr Pool
April 24, 2015
If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here. All of the previous posts can be found archived here. There is a flickr group for sharing right here. Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day! No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post. Thanks!
Week after week, at the beginning of each "Art Journal Every Day" post, I have a link to the flickr pool, where you can share your photos of your journal pages. This is especially great if you don't have a blog or don't want to have your real name attached to your pages. Flickr is free and easy to use. Today I thought I'd share a sampling of some of the lovely pages that were uploaded to the Flickr Pool thus far in April.
As you can see, art journal pages are:
- single page spreads
- double page spreads
- done in spiral bound books
- done in stitched books
- done on loose paper
- involve stenciling
- involve stamping
- involve drawing
- involve collage
- involve sewing
- feature faces
- feature animals
- features shapes
- feature text
- have handwriting
- have no handwriting
And the list just goes on an on! There is no such thing as the "right" way to art journal. All you need is some paper, a pen, and ten-minutes a day.
Here is this week's linky list:
