Make Your Own Junque Journal at The Ink Pad

At the end of March I taught a one-day version of my "Make Your Own Junque Journal" class at The Ink Pad here in NYC.  It was my first time trying to teach this class in one-day.  I made some changes and it all worked out (i.e. people left with beautiful hand made journals) but it definitely felt like a power-packed day of making!

It's always fun to get together with other people who like art and make stuff together!  I had a really good time and it motivated me to make some more journals of my own.  On Friday I'll share the two new Junque Journals that I made!

Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. In anticipation of some questions:

  1. You can learn how to make a slightly different style of Junque Journal (different binding technique) in  my online class here.
  2. You can take an in-person class with me this weekend in Montreal at Scrapbook Centrale.  That's the last of the teaching gigs I have on the books for this year.  As I mentioned before, I'm cutting back on my teaching schedule.  It's possible that I'll teach a few classes in the fall, but I'm taking a little break after Montreal.  :)
  3. You can buy a Dirty Girl apron here.
