Stencil U 2015
April 29, 2015
I was delighted to have the opportunity to be a part of The Crafter's Workshop very first Stencil U this past weekend. I met up with a talented group of ladies culled from The Crafter's Workshop design team.
Clockwise from the bottom left:
- Cheryl Boglioli (design team coordinator)
- Lynne Forsythe
- Tami Sanders
- me (wearing a hairdo my Mother hates and calls "snowman")
- Karen (Karenliz) Henderson
- Rachel Kleinman
- Keri Sallee
I stole most of the photos for this post from their instagram accounts, so you'll see their usernames above the stolen photographs. :)
We gathered together at TCW headquarters where there were plenty of beautiful finished samples to look at.
We got a tour of the warehouse and Jaime (founder and owner of TCW) shared the story of how TCW started. We also spent time making samples, sharing techniques, and discussing absolutely everything about teaching and demonstrating with stencils. (Plus, Jaime handed out fancy embroidered TCW aprons - you can see them in the photos!)
On Saturday night, we headed into New York City for an evening of too much food and lots of happy bonding.
The dessert was as good as it is big. So really really really good!
I ate too much and had a lot of fun. Most importantly, I got to know all of these super talented ladies and that was *awesome*!
Here's a video montage of photos from the TCWStencils instagram account:

And before you ask, here are links to most of the stencils in the photos (if you don't see the stencil you're after it means I couldn't find it for sale anywhere):
Thanks for stopping by!
