I often get e-mails asking for restaurant recommendations in NYC. I have a list on my FAQ page. But, I thought I'd share five good ones I've eaten at in the last few weeks.
Cuisine: French Bistro
My Thoughts: Best french fries, excellent bread and butter, everything is tasty, don't skip dessert, make a reservation.
Restaurant: Don's Bogam
Location: Korea Town
My Thoughts: Go for the Korean BBQ and cook your meal right at your table, the bulgogi with cellophane noodles is super delish, best Korean pancake in town, bring lots of friends and share everything.
Restaurant: Cafe 2 at MoMA
My Thoughts: Communal seating, tasty fresh food with an Italian slant, go for the pasta, free refills on ice tea, the line looks long but it moves fast.
Location: two locations: Midtown and Chelsea
My Thoughts: Big menu, make a reservation, tofu salad is excellent, my favorite dish is the Rosu Katsu Ju -- I could eat it every day!
Restaurant: Stella 34 Trattoria
Location: Herald Square, literally inside of Macy's
My Thoughts: Great views, good service, you can easily make a meal of appetizers, octopus is super fab, if you like spicy go for the Creste de Gallo -- so delicious!
I love food and I love eating out. New York is a food lovers dream. So many restaurants to try! I don't think I could pick a favorite. How about you?
Thanks for stopping by!
