Long Skinny Garbage Stamps
July 23, 2015
The other night I decided to gather my most hated shape of garbage rubber:
I know it's hard to tell scale from this photo, but these are tiny skinny bits. They're not large enough to really cut into shapes other than the long skinny rectangles they are. I stared at them for a while and thought very seriously about just throwing them away. Who would ever know?
But then, I decided that I was up for the challenge and I got out my glass mat and started carving.
Necessity really is the mother of invention. I don't love all of these, but there are a few that I think are super fantastic and I'm glad I stumbled into the designs. Here are some close-ups (believe it or not, these close-up photos are larger than the actual tags and stamps!):
Which one of these designs is your favorite? I'd love to know!
Thanks for stopping by!
