This past weekend I taught my "Carving Stamps for Patterning" class to two different wonderful groups of students. I moved all of the furniture in my apartment so that I could set up tables and turn it into a classroom! I was blown away by my generous, talented, and kind hearted students who came from all over, including Arizona, Ohio, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey...it was amazing!
Take a peek at the pictures to see the fun we had:
After class on Saturday, some of us went out to dinner.
And here are the Sunday photos:
It was interesting teaching the same class twice back-to-back, because it wasn't the same class at all: the two groups of students were so very different. One of the things that continually amazes me about teaching is that I don't get to set the mood as the teacher. The students do. That's why I feel so grateful to have had two groups of positive, curious, and enthusiastic women! Here's to coming to class with an open heart and mind!
If you're interested in learning more about carving pattern stamps, all of the techniques that I taught in the class are in my book Carve Stamp Play.
Thanks for stopping by!
