I'm delighted to bring you another episode of the Adventures in Arting Podcast!
If you do not see the podcast player above, please click on this link. You can listen to a podcast anywhere and at any time. It is a recording that is available to you whenever you'd like to listen. If you'd like to download it to your iTunes library, click here. You can also pause and rewind or fast forward as you desire. I like to listen to podcasts while I'm making art. It's a little like hanging out with friends while you art.
Our guest today is Jessica Sporn:
She is an accomplished, self-taught, mixed media artist whose style is colorful and ranges from whimsical to spiritual with a strong Folk Art influence. She hosts a successful Meet-Up group with monthly classes in her Montclair studio, and also teaches at The Ink Pad in New York City, and Art-Is-You Mixed Media Retreats, as well as in online classes.
On the podcast we discuss menorahs, the theatre, yoga, Jessica's career evolution, teaching, learning, improvisation, creating for a result vs. creating for the process and so much more! It's a very thoughtful and philosophical show! I'd really like to share some listener mail on the next podcast, so I hope you'll leave a comment on today's podcast!
Thanks for stopping by!
