Art Journal Every Day: More August 2015 Pages
October 30, 2015
If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here. All of the previous posts can be found archived here. There is a flickr group for sharing right here. Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day! No need to finish anything or even like it. If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post. Thanks!
I've got some more August daily pages to share with you today! I haven't managed to crack open my art journal since moving. It's terrible and I feel guilty about it. I have a million excuses. But then I remember my own advice: be kind to yourself. Journaling every day is a goal, not a mandate. As soon as my studio space is set up, I'm sure the art journal will come out and I will get back to it!
This spread features an insert made up of a tag and a bunch of die cuts that I glued together and painted.
One of the reasons I leave the bindings a little loose on my journals is so that I can add interesting little pages like this as I go along.
This stamped piece is an extra from when I did the ScanNCut masking video. Nothing goes to waste when there's an art journal around!
This next page has no journaling, but features some pretty hand lettering! There's also no paint on this page! It's all markers!
Here is this week's linky list:
Thanks for stopping by!
