Quilt Festival 2015: Part Two

Quilt Festival 2015: Part One

I was lucky enough to attend Quilt Festival again this year.  I spent most of my time in the ScanNCut booth doing demos and answering questions.  But when I could, I snuck out to go and visit the quilts.  I took more than 1000 photos of the amazing quilts that were there.  And I didn't even take pictures of everything!  That's how many quilts there were!!!  I was completely overwhelmed by the talent, creativity, ingenuity, skill, and dedication of the quilters and their artwork.  Like paintings, quilts are so very different in real life.  Scale and texture just don't translate through photos.  Over the next few days I'm going to be sharing a portion of the 1000 photos I took.  I've tried to include both close-ups and far away shots for atmosphere.  I hope you enjoy the journey!
